We decided to head for the mountain village of Ayder today. Well, it was a long drive - not sure it was worth it. We drove about 100km east along the Black Sea coast then inland for another 30km. Divided dual carriage road again, lots of tunnels, misty mountain views.
Went exploring up another dirt road, but it was getting too rough, so we turned back.
Had an interesting lunch - melted cheese and cornmeal. It seemed like just cheese though.

The bottom of the valley is a big tea growing region.
